The Flash, The Flash: Speedforce and Kid Flash? That'd be pretty sweet and somewhat possible if The Flash and FLASHPOINT do well enough. Windfall! (I got me a little spending money thanks to keeping with one employer for so danged long. God bless anniversary gifts.) That being the case would appreciate some help as I want to read more Wally and Jay while I wait for Flashpoint and I've already purchased all of the Flash tradebooks.

What would be the best trade books to get featuring Wally in the JLA and Jay Garrick...anywhere? For that matter, are there trades featuring Bart as Impulse other than Mercury Rising?

I've seen bits of some of some of the stories, but nothing with which to judge. Note: am not into gruesome...especially maiming. Although the last scenes were fantastic, Wally's maiming in Obisdian Age was...yuck. Flying eyeballs...ew. Also (story title not known) the one where his eye gets eaten out by a raven. REALLY want to avoid that one, thankyouverymuch!

On the plus side, I seem to remember really liking what little I saw where t hey got split into two..hero and regular guy.

I love both but I gotta say Zoom aka Hunter Zolomon is my favorite by a loooong shot! Much better motivation and unique take on a villian. Much scarier than Thawne and a cool image effect when he is moving. I love where he came from, his backround and why he wants to make Wally a better hero.

While Thawne is cool...his motivation has always seemed kinda hokey. Even the update in Rebirth didn't make him any cooler...just made him kinda pathetic. Like a stalker. Then the whole reason he was defeated was because he pretty much revealved himself AND his plan to Barry. Wally just barley defeated Zolomon the first time. BLITZ ws truly a scary story with a devastating ending. What's Thawne going to do? Kill Iris again? Yawn. ;)
